As the seasons change, so too do our menus at The Lazy Gourmet.

The creative minds on our culinary team have unveiled a cornucopia of signature fare that evokes the warmth of the fall and winter season in a new seasonally inspired menu full of hearty, comforting mains, fresh salads and sides and decadent desserts.

The offerings include appetizing hot canapés like Grilled Lamb (pomegranate and orange relish, date marmalade on lattice potato) and Button Mushroom Bolognese (ricotta filled pasta, fried basil) and cold appetizers such as Harissa Cauliflower Toasts roasted pear, candied walnuts, vegan feta), Seared Tuna with truffle oil tapenade and tomato caper relish, and Carpaccio (red and yellow beets, cucumber dill yogurt, arugula, pretzel bread).

From artisan meats and cheeses to plant-focused picks, we’ve got Party Platters aplenty that offer crowd-pleasing options like Prosciutto and Burrata (garlic roasted tomatoes, Castelvetrano olives, whole roasted garlic, charcoal bread) and Satay (Bulgogi beef, honey mustard chicken, lemon prawns, deep fried black pepper tofu, rosemary roasted mushrooms, minted kale pesto chicken, chipotle lime beef satay, gremolata aioli dipping sauce).

Hearty entrées and mains on our new menu showcase the very best of BC’s farms, fields and pastures in selections such as French Tarragon Chicken with Burgundy cream, Kuterra Salmon (crispy salmon skin, quinoa & corn with herbs, charred kale, bannock croutons, Saskatoon berry & apple reduction), and Miso and Black Vinegar Duck Breast (5 spice caramelized fennel, orange, gai lan, ginger rice).

Salads and sides steal their share of spotlight, courtesy of fresh salads like Kale, Brussels Sprout, Cauliflower and Butternut Squash with lemon Parmesan vinaigrette and Arugula, Butter Lettuce and Radicchio with pickled grapes, spicy candied pecans, yuzu vinaigrette, and gourmet sides such as Sautéed Mushrooms with brown butter and garden aromatics, French Beans with basil almond pesto, and Butternut Squash Gratin with Gruyère and thyme.

Decadent desserts await, as well, with sweet finishing notes provided by Banana Cake Bites (vegan banana cake topped with dark chocolate ganache, candied hazelnut and gold flake), Passionfruit Layers (crepe layers filled with passionfruit on a white chocolate disc and finished with powdered sugar and rose crystals) and a show-stopping Skillet Gooey Chocolate Chunk Cookie Chef Station (4 oz chocolate chunk cookies baked on mini cast iron pans and served with caramel sauce and chunky strawberry sauce).

Lip-smacking custom libations also serve to lift spirits with signature creations like the Cranberry Cider (vodka, cognac, blood orange simple syrup, cranberry reduction, apple cider vinegar, fresh apple juice) and Campfire (bourbon, seated Scotch, maple syrup, black walnut bitters, egg white, charred to order marshmallow).
