Cherry blossoms abound, warmer weather is on its way, and we’re celebrating the turn of the season by debuting an all-new Spring & Summer Menu of signature culinary creations at The Lazy Gourmet!
The new menu features a mouth-watering array of hot and cold Appetizers, hearty and healthy Salads and Sides, gourmet Burgers and Handhelds, party pleasing Platters and decadent Desserts that showcase our culinary team’s core philosophy of conjuring the freshest flavours of the season. Our fully customizable menus are ideal for small or large events at homes, offices and venues across Vancouver and feature a wide range of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options.
The new Hot Appetizer lineup features small bites and snacks such as Madras Popcorn Chicken with creamy spinach sauce, Gochujang Fried ‘Chicken’ Sliders (oyster mushroom, sautéed sesame spinach, tahini mayo), and Mexican Corn Dogs with feta dip. On the cold canapé side, tempt tastebuds with Asian Beef Carpaccio (garlic aioli, garlic crisps, micro cilantro, soy glaze), Dill-Poached Salmon with smoked cream atop an everything bagel cracker, Pecan Candied Bacon (confit tomato, green pea purée, charcoal crostini), and more. Fresh salad selections abound, with new additions such as the Melon Peach Frisée (jalapeños, sake, togarashi, lime juice), Grilled Zucchini, Snap Pea and Heirloom Tomato (pea shoots, red onions, walnut and poppy seed dressing), classic Sliced Potato with charred green onion vinaigrette, and Spicy Caesar with horseradish dressing, among others.

Burger and Handheld fans can have their fill from our menu, too, thanks to juicy, signature options like the Korean Beef (Korean-style BBQ sauce, crispy coleslaw), Crispy Fish with Japanese tartar sauce, Grilled Chicken with spicy honey sauce and provolone, and Wild BC Salmon Burger with jalapeño blueberry sauce. In a take-me-out-to-the-ballgame mood? We’ve also got Classic Hot Dogs with ketchup, mustard, relish and chopped onions.

Our new party perfect lineup of Platters includes Premium Cheese and Charcuterie and Classic Antipasto selections as well as signature selections like Asian Marinated BC Albacore Tuna with red pepper jelly and Korean chili paste, Satay (honey mustard chicken, Korean BBQ beef, herbed lemon prawns, spicy cilantro aioli) and the Sushi Maki Presentation (BC salmon, tuna, cucumber, vegetable, spicy tuna, California and Ashinko rolls, served with Shoyu, wasabi and pickled ginger).
No meal is complete without indulging those with a sweet tooth, and The Lazy Gourmet chefs never disappoint in that department. Our new selection of decadent desserts includes the S’More Truffle, Pecan Berry Shortbread, Peach Raspberry Petite Galette, Black Forest Tart, Brown Sugar Meringue, Tropical Profiterole and the show-stopping Confetti Birthday Board.

Our expert team of mixologists can help provide an added punch to any party via a creative cocktail list that includes the Cucumber Smash (rum, smashed cucumber, basil, lime, sugar, soda), Gin Blossom (gin, orgeat, orange blossom water, orange, lemon, egg white, nutmeg) and Whiskey Business (whiskey, muddled ginger, grenadine, lemon, sparkling water).
