We’re proud to be the exclusive caterer at the Vancouver Art Gallery, a turn-of-the-century former provincial courthouse that provides a dramatic exterior backdrop for photography and film shoots and one of the city’s most unforgettable enclaves for weddings, receptions, cocktail parties, seasonal gatherings and corporate events.
Spaces within the Gallery include the Forecourt and Grand Rotunda — with a soaring dome and twin marble staircases — and two of the building’s original historic courtrooms, complete with judge’s stands and rich hardwoods, the breathtaking interior and exterior spaces of the Rooftop Pavilion, and 1931 Gallery Bistro, with its terraced patio surrounded by lush greenery that overlooks Robson Square and adds a unique al-fresco flair to any event.

1931 GALLERY BISTRO
Named in honour of the founding year of the Art Gallery, this polished bistro is perfect for any occasion and features a vibrant, bright interior dining room and a terraced patio (weather permitting) surrounded by lush greenery that overlooks Robson Square and adds a unique al-fresco flair to any event.

THE LOBBY, FORECOURT AND GRAND ROTUNDA
The largest function space at the Gallery is comprised of three adjoining rooms, allowing for dynamic events. The Lobby and Forecourt are open spaces capable of hosting dinners, receptions and live music, while the twin marble staircases of the Grand Rotunda make for a natural backdrop for ceremonies and announcements.

THIRD FLOOR ROTUNDA
Bathed in the natural light that streams through the Rotunda’s magnificent glass dome, the ethereal ambience of the third-floor exhibition space is complimented in the evening by Rosetta lights set in original floral moulding. This is a special, intimate space ideally suited to boutique wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties, acoustic recitals and photoshoots.

ROOFTOP PAVILION INTERIOR/EXTERIOR
The Rooftop Pavilion spaces feature city views of Robson Square and the Law Courts beyond. These versatile and exclusive spaces were purpose-built as the BC Pavilion for the 2010 Winter Olympics and feature custom hand-carved sliding doors by Arnim Rodeck that recreate the city skyline.

COURTROOMS 301 & 302
Built in 1911, the stately Heritage Courtrooms are recognized as a National Historic Site of Canada. The rooms boast original architectural features and serve as an elegant and versatile setting.
